2.1 Controller

2.2 Website Operation

The landing page playbodyroyale.com is developed and operated on behalf of Philips by Omnicom Media Group Germany GmbH, Grünstraße 15, 40212 Düsseldorf, Germany, with operational support from Bigleet GmbH, Wilhelm-von-Siemens-Str. 23, Haus E, 12277 Berlin, Germany.

2.3 Personal Data Collected

Only basic registration data is collected:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Country
• Age confirmation (18+)
• Epic Games ID
• Optional: total Fortnite earnings
• Optional: Discord username

No sensitive personal data is collected.

2.4 Purpose of Processing

Personal data is used for operating the Program, including managing participant registration, verifying eligibility, organizing and conducting tryouts and selection processes, communicating with participants regarding their participation status, coordinating program-related activities (such as livestreams or events), and ensuring compliance with program rules and security requirements.

In addition, limited technical data may be processed for website security, error monitoring and debugging to keep the website stable and to investigate malfunctions.

2.5 Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contractual necessity).

2.6 Data Access

Access is limited to Philips teams where necessary and appointed agencies supporting the Program on behalf of Philips.

Agencies supporting the Program in the eligible markets (as defined in 1.1) will receive only those exported participant lists that are required for operational communication. Access is limited to country-specific data and does not extend to the full database.

2.7 Recipients

Data may be shared with hosting providers, agencies and logistics partners supporting the Program under appropriate data protection agreements.

Technical error events may also be processed by Sentry, our error monitoring provider, strictly for diagnostics and service reliability.

2.8 International Transfers

Personal data collected as part of the program will be processed and stored within the European Economic Area (EEA). No transfers of personal data to countries outside the EEA/UK are planned in connection with the operation of the program.

2.9 Data Retention

Personal data relating to participants who take part in the try-outs and subsequent rounds will be processed for the duration of the program, and selected video material for up to 5 years after the program has ended. Data relating to data subjects who do not take part in the try-outs and subsequent rounds will be deleted once the players have been selected.

2.10 Participant Rights

The website uses essential cookies required for operation and website security, as well as optional analytics and advertising cookies with user consent.

Essential technical monitoring may operate without analytics consent to detect errors and abuse. Optional session replay and user feedback tools are activated only when analytics consent has been granted.
